Rockbridge Area Hospice, Inc. started at a kitchen table in 1983. Our founders: Marion Brown, Charlotte Gunn, Helen Hodges, and Barbara Tucker began what is now ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice. In 2023, Rockbridge Area Hospice and Mountain Regional Hospice joined together under a new name: ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice.

Our Mission: "We provide compassionate care and comfort to our neighbors living with serious illness so they and their families can enjoy life for as long as possible."
As the only local non-profit healthcare agency of its kind, we ensure that all those in our community who need our care receive it. Our services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private health insurances and our Good Neighbor Fund. Regardless of ability to pay, if a patient qualifies for our services, we will care for them.
The ConnectionsPlus 40th Anniversary Gala Celebration will be held on June 8, 2024, but you do not have to be present to participate in the silent auction. A few notes about the auction: Bidding is open now! The auction will begin to close at 6:30 pm on June 8, 2024, with 2 lots closed per minute. There will be a 1-minute auto-extension. Credit cards on file will be charged at the conclusion of the auction. A 4% credit card convenience fee will be added to all purchases. If you are not attending the Gala and bidding remotely, items will be available for pick up on Monday, following the auction. Thank you for being a neighbor helping a neighbor.

Online Auction Terms
1. Every auction lot is sold “as is, where is, with all faults known or unknown” without warranty or guarantee of any kind. Inspections of lots are provided by photos or special preview before and during the online auction. Bidders are asked not to bid on or purchase any item or a lot they have not inspected to their complete satisfaction. Upon knock down the item or lot becomes the responsibility of the buyer. Every effort is made to describe the condition of the item accurately. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
2. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted for payment.There will be a 4% Convenience Fee added to all credit card purchases. There are no credit card charge backs.
3. When you bid on any item, you are entering into a binding contract. If your bid is the winning bid on any item(s) your responsible for paying for and picking up your items at the conclusion of the auction. You must have your receipt for pick-up.
4. This Auction is exempt from Virginia State Sales Tax.
5. Shipping is available if necessary. All shipping and handling costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
6. Registering and placing bids means that the bidder has read and fully understands the terms and conditions of the internet auction and agrees to be bound thereby.
